Job description

Job Title : RN - IMCU

Job Location : Portland, ME

Job Duration : 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)

Shift : 7 : 00pm - 7 : 30am

Years of Experience :

  • 3 years ICU experience.

Float Requirements :

  • Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical / Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on HCP experience.
  • Floating to any IMC at the organization, patient ratios 1 : 3 in IMC.

    • Certifications Required :

  • ACLS.
  • NIHSS.

    • Unit Information :

  • Number of Beds : 32 (20 Medical, 12 Neuro ICU).
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 2.
  • EMR : EPIC.

    • Hiring Profile :

  • Must Have Skills / Experience : 3 years of ICU experience.

    • Type of Patients on Unit :

  • This 20 bed Medical Intensive Care Unit in a tertiary care and teaching institute. Patients cared for on this unit are primarily those with medical complications related to sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA and others.

    • Personality Fit :

  • Candidate must be focused on outstanding patient care, team communication, and their drive to excel not only as a member of our organization, but also as an individual.

    • Dress Code :

  • Scrub Color : Non-specific.
