Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,386 per week in Bismarck, ND

Job Title : Pre-Op RN Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-Hour Days; Call required Hours per Shift : 8 hours or 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have : Strongly prefer 3 years of experience Description : Department : Pre-Op RN Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, PALS No clinical involvement. Total number of beds : 14 Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 3 Common diagnoses / types of patients include pediatrics and geriatrics. Patients may have total joints, sports medicine, arthroscopies, cystoscopy, Da Vinci XI for General / GYN / Urology, ION robotic cases, and open hearts, among others. There is a charge nurse on each shift. The charge nurse may take an assignment. Shifts are 8 and 12 hours, with hours from 0530 to 1800 or 1000 to 1830. Weekends are not required unless working in PACU. No holiday responsibilities unless working in PACU. Three days of unit-specific orientation are provided. Staff should be able to multi-task, be proficient, and work in a fast-paced environment. Radius Rule : 50 miles. RTO needed upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO requests will not be approved after submissions. Charting System : EPIC BSN is not required. Trauma Level : 2 Care Setting : Acute Division : Nursing Shift Notes : 8-hour days plus call; shifts from 0530 to 1800 or 1000 to 1830.
