Job descriptionProvide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms. Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans. Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Full-time or Part-time available As a provider with BHS, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, days of the week preferred. Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry. Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA) Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees) 1 year of Geri Psych Experience. 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and / or Acute Rehab Hospitals. Basic computer knowledge. Experience with EMR / EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus). Excellent written communication. Attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations. Fluency in Spanish is a plus! Inclusive Company Culture Open Communication Fully develop into your role!
