Job descriptionManage production schedules for multiple areas and product groups Work with Purchasing team to understand material lead times Collaborate with the warehouse team for timing and execution of picking materials to jobs Notify customers when there are delays in production Manage delivery dates in SAP Communicate job status related to special requests Run various production meetings to communicate customer needs and internal schedules (Will lead 2 production meetings a week) Associate's degree preferred 3+ years of relevant experience working in a Production / Planning focused role in a manufacturing facility or supply chain environment Experience working within an MRP / ERP system (SAP or Oracle are preferred) Strong experience working in Excel
Our client, a global leader in energy management and automation, is actively looking for a Production Planner to join their team in West Chester, OH! This role is onsite 3 days a week so local candidates are required.
