Job descriptionABIM or ABFM certified with significant prior hospitalist experience, preferred at a large tertiary, academic hospital. Approximately 85% clinical, 15% administrative. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with Hospitalist Director. 7 on, 7 off, mostly clinical with some protected administrative time. Help support the Hospitalist Director's efforts in utilization management, compliance, and clinical documentation improvement at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Collaborate with hospitalist Director to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings and provide ongoing education and support to our network of physicians. Savannah is only hour from the Atlantic Ocean and offers a unique combination of beaches, boating canals, and a laid-back lifestyle, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities and scenic surroundings. Savannah's beautiful beaches, historic downtown River District, and abundant recreational options make it a prime location for individuals and families. Plenty of access to cultural, dining, and entertainment amenities while maintaining its charming, laid-back atmosphere. Compensation : Clinical shift rate with Assistant Director stipend, quality and productivity incentive, all of which make for a very attractive package. Benefits : 401k with matching contributions. Paid malpractice, including tail coverage. CME allowance.
