Job description5 years in J2EE development experience implementing web applications (with oracle 10g or higher database) Web Application Development experience in Java / J2EE environment including JPA, MVC frameworks, CSS, JSON / XML Technologies, Struts, JQuery, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and HTML. Experience with MVC architecture integration, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), and common design patterns. Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, and Node.js Strong experience working with SOAP / RESTful services, APIs, API gateways and / or Microservices. Experience in an Enterprise Database Management System (preferably Oracle), including intermediate or higher use of SQL and stored procedures. Strong experience with command line git and GitHub. Experienced with Containers and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) technologies and concepts. Hands on experience working with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Experience with cloud technologies preferably Azure / AWS and vendor integrations, specifically around API integration. Understanding of Container security, management, implementation, and orchestration in a cloud environment. Experience testing, debugging, and diagnosing software bugs and system issues. Experience developing test cases and test plans. Agile product development experience utilizing Scrum or Kanban. Preferred Experience : 2 years in JBoss Drools rule engine 2 years in implementing micro-services 4 years in implementing design patterns & caching technologies 3 years in Angulary JS, Jquery, Node.js EAP 7.x performance tuning & optimization Implementing Continuous integration / continuous delivery environment using Jenkins Experience in Selenium testing Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field Pluses : Business Background in Financial Area (Payroll, AR, Accounting)
Overview
job summary : We are looking for a Sr. ava Developer for a Web Developer III role with one of our largest clients in the Cleveland, OH area. This is a contract-to-hire role that is hybrid (3x a week in office) through December 2025, and then 5x a week on-site beginning January 2026.

Responsibilities
- should have profound knowledge in the areas of web-based application development, testing and deployment process
- will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing, coding and testing
- Should be well versed with Software development cycle and Application development process.
- Offer solutions to improve the performance of existing applications and develop new modules with latest technologies without effecting the existing application functionality
- Migration of Java based projects
- Implementing security for web-based application(s) & webservices
- Implementing design patterns & caching technology
