Medical Assistant

Performs a variety of patient care, technical, and administrative duties to assist practitioners and other members of the healthcare team in providing high quality patient care throughout the health care system. The Medical Assistant participates as a team member in the overall function of the clinic. The Medical Assistant is responsible for the flow of patients for their assigned areas (as applicable) each day. They perform duties and procedure as described by the primary responsibilities section.

Responsibilities

• All essential functions of the MA I and MA II positions
• Act as a primary preceptor / trainer
• Work with leadership team to facilitate training of new hires and other training initiatives
• Assist nurse or provider with procedures, as indicated by role
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to develop operational strategies and process improvement efforts

The hourly pay range for this position is from $31.83 to $47.73 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship at this time.

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, up to $3,000.
