Qualifications :

NJ School Counselor or NJ School Social Worker Certification

Ability to facilitate social skills & mindfulness groups

Support students with mediation of conflicts, building confidence and interpersonal skills

Support students with SEL

Ability to teach whole group lessons on friendship, character and positive interactions

Support struggling students with calming techniques

Support students during lunch and recess

• This position is for the 2025-26 school year only and is dependent on the receipt of Title I funding

All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position.
