The Family Maternity Center at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is committed to providing care to newborns, mothers and families through a multidisciplinary team approach. The Family Maternity Center is made up of 13 LDRP suites, four private postpartum suites, a newborn nursery, an intermediate care nursery, a surgical suite for c-sections and three triage rooms. Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center has been named among the nation s best for providing high-quality labor and delivery services for uncomplicated pregnancies by U.S. News & World Report. Fewer than 300 hospitals across the country received a high performing designation, the highest award a hospital can earn in maternity care.

Williamsburg , located less than an hour from Richmond and less than 3 hours from Washington D.C., was capital of the Virginia Colony from 1699 to 1780 and played a significant role in the American Revolution. It forms the Historic Triangle together with Jamestown and Yorktown. The most well-known feature is Colonial Williamsburg, a historic district with where actors in period costume depict daily Colonial life. Williamsburg is also known for being home to Busch Gardens theme park, Water Country USA, and the world-famous Kingsmill golf course.
