Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in patient care? As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be at the forefront of diagnostic imaging, working under the guidance of our Imaging Services Director and Chief of Diagnostic Imaging. Your expertise will be crucial in performing radiographic procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries, all while ensuring a safe and efficient experience for our patients.

What You'll Do :

• Perform Specialized Procedures : Conduct both routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures with precision and care.
• Patient Interaction : Use your excellent communication skills to explain procedures to patients, easing their anxieties and ensuring cooperation.
• Patient Preparation : Prepare and position patients for imaging, adjusting immobilization devices for optimal views.
• Equipment Operation : Determine exposure factors and operate radiographic equipment to produce detailed and accurate images.
• Mobile Imaging : Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings, including operating rooms and emergency rooms.
• Assist Radiologists : Support radiologists and qualified physicians during fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.
• Image Processing : Prepare and process images for review, ensuring quality control and proper identification.
• Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment.
• Training : Orient new hires and train students, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Flexibility : Step in as needed in the absence of the Supervising Radiology Technologist.

What We’re Looking For : Basic Qualifications :

Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California)
