Opportunity Specifics : Assignment Type : CRNA Locum Tenens Site - Hospital Start Date : ASAP Assignment length : Ongoing M-F Hours : (7 : 00am – 3 : 00pm) or 4 10s Shifts : 8s, 10s, or 12s Cases : All except Hearts and Heads Practice : Supervised EMR - EPIC Must be VA licensed and clean file / no flags Job Description : Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and / or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring patient’s physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Experience / proficiency in : Epidurals, Spinals & Blocks Candidate Requirements : Active VA State License Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Clear personal & professional background
