Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client, a leader in the food distribution industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be part of the Finance department supporting accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and advanced Excel proficiency which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Houston, TX (Primarily Remote 90% / 10% On-site)

What's the Job?

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time

Communicate with internal teams and external clients to resolve issues

Use advanced Microsoft Excel features for data management and analysis

Support business operations using Microsoft Office tools

Collaborate with team members and work independently when needed

What's Needed?

13 years of accounts payable or related financial experience

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners

Experience using Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Outlook
