Job description

General Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the landscape by pulling and spraying weeds, planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and collecting trash.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and spray weeds to maintain the landscape.
  • Plant trees, shrubs, and flowers.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in landscaping, horticulture, golf course maintenance, or a related field.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of standing and walking for long periods.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions including hot, cold, rain, snow, and ice.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid SC Driver's License.
  • Attention to detail and self-motivation.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Identification and knowledge of plants and their maintenance needs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of common landscaping techniques.

    Work Environment

    This position involves working outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment, which may include exposure to various weather conditions.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Charleston, South Carolina.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
