Superintendent Position
Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Superintendent in the Facilities department. This position assists the Director of Facilities with the administration of the Facilities Department in the planning, coordination, and administration of departmental initiatives and operations. This position plays a critical leadership role in supervising the Facilities Tech Coordinators, overseeing daily operations, managing budgets and contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Job Functions (include but are not limited to) :
Candidates must have technical knowledge normally acquired through six months to one year of advanced study or training past the high school level. An associate's degree is preferred. Must have a minimum of five years directly related experience. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and applicable safety and regulatory codes. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
