Vice President of Finance Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and experienced Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations, infrastructure development, and growth initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate directly with the CFO to manage financial planning, reporting, compliance, and business unit finance across multiple locations. Your expertise will help ensure operational discipline, drive profitability, and support the company’s expansion beyond $500 million in revenue. This is a senior leadership position ideal for a process-driven professional with a passion for building systems, fostering accountability, and delivering measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Maintain accurate P&L statements and Balance Sheets, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely month-end / quarter-end closes
- Drive EBITDA growth through cost control, capital discipline, and working capital optimization
- Develop and implement financial infrastructure, including systems, dashboards, KPIs, and internal controls
- Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis packages for executive leadership, the Board, and private equity stakeholders
- Partner with Operations, Sales, and Service teams to align financial strategies with business objectives
- Manage relationships with banking partners, auditors, and lenders to ensure compliance and readiness
- Oversee M&A activities including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-deal integration
- Mentor and develop finance team members, promoting a culture of accountability and high performance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or CPA preferred10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including FP&A, controllership, or corporate finance rolesProven experience working in private equity-backed organizations or high-growth startupsStrong track record managing multi-site operations and complex P&L responsibilitiesDemonstrated success in improving EBITDA, cash flow, and financial reporting accuracyDeep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance standardsAdvanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and KPI developmentProficiency with ERP and BI systems such as Infor Syteline, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, or similar toolsExcellent communication skills suited for executive presentations and Board reportingStrong organizational skills with a focus on structure, deadlines, and accuracyAbility to travel up to 50%, domestically and internationallyWillingness to relocate to a main corporate hub in Washington, Florida, or Colorado when required, with relocation assistance provided#J-18808-Ljbffr
