Position Summary

As an  ICS Caregiver , you will provide housing-based, person-centered support to individuals living in community settings. Your role is to assist clients in maintaining their housing, developing daily living skills, and engaging in meaningful community activities while ensuring their health, safety, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily living support, including meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.

Offer medication reminders and assist with health management, including scheduling and attending medical appointments.

Encourage and support clients in developing and maintaining healthy routines.

Assist with budgeting, bill management, and organizing important documents.

Promote community integration by accompanying clients on outings, errands, and recreational activities.

Support housing stability by ensuring clients follow lease rules, keep units clean, and communicate effectively with landlords.

Document daily services and client progress accurately and on time.

Uphold client confidentiality and follow all DHS and company policies.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required).

Ability to pass a DHS background study.

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Previous caregiving, home health, or social services experience (preferred but not required).

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping individuals achieve independence.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay :  $18–$20 / hour (depending on experience).

Flexible scheduling (weekday and weekend shifts available).
