Job Summary :

This Manufacturing Engineer role is responsible for providing the technical expertise necessary to design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes / systems related to fabrication of track type tractors. In this role you will work both independently and as part of a team to maintain and improve processes and systems used in manufacturing. In addition, Manufacturing Engineers function as a specialist and subject matter expert for technical planning throughout a manufacturing facility.

What You Will Do :

• Support the fabrication processes, including New Product Introduction (NPI), to ensure that processes / changes (E.g., drawings, standards, manufacturing BOM) are designed for manufacturability and ready for production.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day process problems, initiate solutions, and follow-up to evaluate effectiveness of changes.
• Analyze engineering change notices, determine part or process changes, initiate and implement all changes.
• Improve Value Stream metrics by defining and implementing process improvement activities.
• Utilize Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Low-Cost Producer and Lean manufacturing principles to support day-to-day operations.

Education Requirement :

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering / technology or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through professional expertise.

This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the East Peoria, IL office. Domestic relocation assistance is NOT available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position may require up to 5% travel.

Summary Pay Range : $95,640.00 - $143,520.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
