Lead Cloud Engineer, Cloud & TechOps - AWS Cost Optimization and Application Modernization

What you'll do :
- Infrastructure Design & Oversight : Lead the architecture and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
- Performance Management : Work with cross-functional teams to monitor and ensure all applications and systems meet or exceed performance SLAs.
- Kubernetes Management : Oversee the design, optimization, and management of Kubernetes clusters to maximize resource efficiency and reliability.
- Incident Investigation : Leverage deep cloud expertise to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, minimizing downtime.
- Independent & Collaborative Work : Navigate high-profile projects autonomously, while effectively leading cross-team initiatives to achieve strategic goals.
Required Skills :
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and management with an architect-level understanding of network, storage, cloud, and server architecture.Proven expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and DevOps methodologies.Must have Windows and application modernization from .NET to Linux EKS experienceRefactor applications and Replatform - migrate platform from Windows to Linux / ContainersCloud Financial Management : AWS Cost Optimization and Application ModernizationCloud Finance Tooling : AWS, Carpenter, EKS, Lambda, Terraform, Gitlab, and PythonStrong project management skills, especially with large-scale infrastructure projects.Experience in cost optimization, utilizing data to identify opportunities and collaborate across teams.Excellent communication and decision-making skills, capable of working independently and leading teams.Nice to Have Skills :
Prior experience managing infrastructure within retail or e-commerce sectors.Advanced certifications in cloud platforms or related technologies.Knowledge of container orchestration beyond Kubernetes, such as Docker Swarm or OpenShift.Preferred Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Extensive hands-on experience managing enterprise-level cloud and infrastructure environments.Other Requirements :
