Responsibilities

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB / GYN) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking one Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Practice. NP / PAs are valued members within our team and teamwork is essential to meeting the needs of the patients for whom we provide care.

Provision of care in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility includes, but is not limited to, comprehensive assessment and physical examination, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests and / or procedures, diagnosing and directly managing clinical infertility, promoting wellness, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments, and as well as non-pharmacological therapies, and appropriate follow-up. Teaching and counseling individuals, families, and groups are a significant part of NP / PA activities. NP / PAs are also expected to serve as mentors, and to participate in clinical improvement and research projects as appropriate to the clinical setting.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner : Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current State MN RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP, or ANP.

Physician Assistant : Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.
