Stake Center Locating is recruiting experienced Locate Technicians to become Lead Locate Technicians on our team.
The optimal candidate will have the responsibility of aiding, supervising, and organizing the tasks of locate technicians as instructed to guarantee precise and efficient identification of underground utilities. In the role of Lead Locate Technician, you will be pivotal in project management, mentoring team members, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform damage investigations
Conduct audits (including Field Safety Audits)Execute ride along with crew membersTeam ManagementManage ticket distribution
Upkeep of vehicles (issues and maintenance)Manage equipment and supplies (including issues and distribution)Manage recruitment to teamTeam LeadershipProvide mentorship and guidance to locate technicians
Foster positivity and safety among crew membersHelp with difficult locatesConduct crew meetings and reportingTechnical ExpertiseContinuously learn about equipment and technology
Customer InteractionAddress concerns or inquiries from customers
Maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communicationSafety ComplianceReport and investigate accidents / injuries
Conduct SOP directivesQualifications :
Must be at least eighteen years of age.High school diploma or equivalent.Clean background check for access to restricted and / or controlled areas.Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.Ability to pass random drug screens and to remain drug free.Computer literate.Ability to locate.Ability to effectively perform a PDR or damage investigation.Ability to interact with all involved, the public, customers, contractors, utility representatives and all those under their direction.Excellent communication skills at all levels.Since 1997, we have been on a mission to make Stake Center a better place to work.
