Job Overview

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking an Applications Development Analyst C - Advanced to join its team in Tallahassee, FL. This role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining custom software applications while working in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Mandatory Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria :

• Residency Requirement : Must live in or be willing to relocate to Tallahassee, FL . This is an onsite role with no long-term remote work option.
• Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience .
• Experience :
• 5+ years as a lead developer .
• 8+ years of broad experience with development technologies, including :
• Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET / MVC, WCF / WebAPI
• SQL Server, REST, XML, JSON
• JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Durandal, Knockout, etc.)
• Python, GIS Frameworks, and CSS
• Experience in full lifecycle application development , including architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Strong skills in legacy application modernization and migration to service-oriented architectures .
