As a Security Guard - Healthcare Site - Morning Shift in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule : Day Time Wed 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and first responders during emergencies and / or drills to support a coordinated response.
  • Assist with wayfinding and provide information to patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols, policies, and procedures while performing duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
