This unit has 23 beds and over 85 staff members. The ratio of patients to nurses is 1 : 1. The unit operates 24 / 7 with required call duties. The staff includes charge coordinators, nurse managers, transport, RNs, CSTs, and OR assistants. There are both day and night shift positions available. Common procedures performed in this unit include Neuro / Spine surgeries, orthopedic trauma, total joints, revisions, Robotics (gyn, colorectal, thoracic, urology), and Plastics. Candidates must have a strong skill set in the required areas mentioned above. Dress code for the unit is scrub color of ceil blue or royal blue for nurses. The preferred personality fit will align with the team dynamics. No floating areas are required for this position.
