Non-Operative Sports Medicine Physician Opportunity Location : Fergus Falls, MN Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Sports Medicine Physician Position Overview : A board-certified or board-eligible Sports Medicine Physician with a focus on non-operative care is sought to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a physician passionate about helping active individuals optimize performance and recovery without surgical intervention. The position is within a well-established orthopedic practice with orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice providers, offering excellent opportunities to further develop the sports medicine program.Responsibilities : a Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries and sports-related conditionsa Develop individualized, non-surgical treatment plans (e.g., physical therapy, bracing, injections)a Perform ultrasound-guided procedures (e.g., corticosteroid, PRP injections)a Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and primary care providersa Provide optional sideline coverage and support for local athletic eventsa Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimizationQualifications : a MD or DO from an accredited institutiona Board certification / eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Pediatricsa Fellowship training in Sports Medicine (ABMS-recognized)a Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures preferreda Active Minnesota Medical License & DEA (or ability to obtain)a Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and collaborativelya EMR : EPICCompensation & Benefits : a Competitive compensation package (based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity)a Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, and malpractice insurancea Retirement plan with employer contributionsa CME allowance and paid professional dues / membershipsa Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available
