Military Technician Position
This Military Technician position is with the 335th Signal Command (Theater) Company B, 98 Signal Command Battalion, 505 Signal Command Brigade located in Mesa, Arizona. This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set. Responsibilities include monitoring employee training programs, processing administrative actions using automated systems, reviewing correspondence for submission to higher echelons, preserving stock levels of organizational equipment, enforcing policies established by higher headquarters, and maintaining organizational records in accordance with regulatory requirements. To qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized experience includes monitoring programs for the organization which includes pay, personnel, medical readiness, training, or logistics; processing administrative actions using automated systems; and coordinating various types of meetings and training events. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade / level position in the federal service (GS-06). Education is not permitted to substitute for experience. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial / probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
