We are currently working with a dynamic and growing middle-market boutique investment banking firm based in Miami, Florida. This firm specializes in providing comprehensive financial advisory services including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) , private placements , and strategic financial consulting to a diverse range of clients across industries.

As part of their continued growth, the firm is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to join their team. This role will primarily focus on sell-side M&A transactions , offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in deal execution, client interaction, and strategic advisory work.

Key Responsibilities :

As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting deal execution and client service. Your responsibilities will include :

• Financial Modeling & Valuation :

Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess company valuations, including DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company analyses.

Draft pitchbooks, teasers, and management presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of the client to potential buyers.

Collaborate with senior bankers to identify and reach out to strategic and financial buyers. Manage data rooms, track buyer interest, and coordinate communications.

Assist in organizing and responding to buyer due diligence requests. Work closely with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors to ensure a smooth process.

Support the drafting of term sheets and transaction documents. Facilitate communication between all parties to ensure timely and successful deal closure.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will possess the following :

6 to 12 months of prior experience in investment banking, preferably with exposure to M&A transactions.

Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and preparation of pitch materials.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
