Job Title : Snowmaker
Department : Mountain Operations / Grounds
Reports to : Manager of Mountain Operations
The Snowmaker crew member will be responsible for making snow on all ski trails and the Tubing Park, as well as snowmaking maintenance, ground keeping, snow removal and trail maintenance. Great perks and OVERTIME!

Smile!Focus on safety for yourself and others.Moves and positions equipment, snow guns, and hoses.Starts and stops snow guns per the snowmaking plan.Works safely around high-pressure water and compressed air pipelinesNavigates steep, snowy, and icy slopes continually throughout the shift.Digging and shoveling snow as needed and assisting other departments as needed.During off-season duties are similar across several varied jobs : snowmaking maintenance, grounds maintenance, mountain construction, and water park set-up and tear down.Adhering to the Customer Service Standards of Camelback Resort as well as all Company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.Adhering to seasonal and daily Service Guidelines and Checklists.Communicating effectively with all members of the Camelback Resort team.Participating in the business planning process for the department and the resort.Is this the job for me :
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.Contributes to a positive team environment.One year of physical labor experience (preferred).Technical skills and mechanical understanding plus.Weekend and holiday availability is required, with flexibility to work long or irregular hours, including nights.During peak season, schedule may exceed 40 hours per week.Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.Commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests.Ability to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
