Plumbing Estimator – Commercial Mechanical Contractor
About the Job - Plumbing Estimator :
We are hiring a Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team in the Kansas City Metro. This position plays a key role in our preconstruction department, focusing on plumbing take-offs, spec and drawing reviews, and preparing bid recaps. If you have estimating experience and want to grow with a respected mechanical contractor, we want to talk with you. Fast Estimating software experience is a big plus but not required — we'll train the right person.
What You'll Do as a Plumbing Estimator :
- Perform plumbing take-offs for commercial construction projects
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications for scope accuracy
- Enter quantities and pricing into plumbing bid recaps
- Work with estimators, project managers, and vendors to ensure complete bids
- Compare and analyze subcontractor / vendor pricing
- Stay organized with estimating files and project documentation
