Forklift Operators Needed ASAP!

Our client is an internationally known logistics company in need of forklift operators on 1st shift

They have a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude, proven attendance track record, and who want to excel in a warehouse environment in a forklift position.

It is a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate!

Shift / Hours : 1st shift. Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3 : 30PM + Occasional OT

Pay : $19 / hour

Major Responsibilities :

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading including matching alpha / numeric coding.
• Open and close dock door, load and unload trailers.
• Move materials within the warehouse, package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling), and handle disposition of damaged product.
• Use computer and handheld scanners to manage inventory in the warehouse management system and complete daily logs.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Must be able to follow all safety rules, work in a safe manner and report any problems for management to address.

Skills :

Must be able to follow written and oral instructions including reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders.

Excellent attendance is a MUST!

Previous experience in crating and boxing product for shipment.

Fork truck experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Must be able to stand, sit, reach, grasp, turn, bend, and twist body to reach product and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
