We are searching for a Project Accountant to join our Indianapolis studio!

What You'll Do :

  • Lead client billings with project leaders
  • Prepare monthly project billings and review with project leaders
  • Review expense coding of project vendor and consultant invoices
  • Assist project leaders in maintaining revenue projection schedules
  • Assist project leaders in reviewing of project and consultant contracts to ensure terms are in alignment with our standards
  • Ensure payment is received on all invoices issued
  • Assist project leaders in understanding project budgets and work plans to request appropriate fees and maximize profits
  • Project analysis and reporting including : Historical client & project profitability analysis, Project budget vs. actual variance analysis, Historical research for purposes of establishing fees for new projects

Education and Experience :

  • Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant work experience
  • Experience : 1-8 years of experience. Public accounting and / or similar design industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Software Skills : Familiarity with Deltek or other accounting software beneficial but not required
  • Office Tools : Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite; Excel (strong skills required including lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
