Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,883 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Benton, Arkansas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments, create individualized care plans, and update treatment goals based on patient progress.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform wound care as ordered.
• Assist patients with mobility training, strengthening exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and document patient progress in Allscripts EHR, communicating changes to the care team promptly.
• Safely utilize rehabilitation and lift equipment to prevent injury.
• Team nurse with LPNs to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, self-care techniques, and discharge instructions.
• Float to other units within scope of practice when required.
• Maintain infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policy compliance.
• Adults requiring acute rehabilitation following neurological events, trauma, or orthopedic conditions.

Active RN license (state-specific or compact) Current BLS certification Minimum 2 years of acute rehabilitation experience
