We’re looking for a friendly, approachable, and dedicated provider to join our growing team at SCMC!

As part of our pediatric care team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children in our Van Nuys, El Monte, and Pico Rivera clinics. We take pride in creating a welcoming environment for both patients and staff, where teamwork, empathy, and excellent care come first.

About the Role :

This is a traveling position between our Van Nuys, El Monte, and Pico Rivera clinics—perfect for someone who enjoys variety, meeting new families, and working with diverse communities.

Duties :

• Provide routine well-child exams, assessments, and follow-up care for acute and chronic conditions.
• Evaluate and treat sick visits with compassion and thoroughness.
• Develop informed treatment plans and prescribe medications when necessary.
• Order and interpret lab tests to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Administer vaccines and promote healthy habits through education and counseling.
• Collaborate with specialists when needed to ensure each child receives the best possible care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records in our NextGen EHR system.
