Description
The Barback is responsible for providing guests with a positive dining experience through excellent organization skills, maintaining bar stock and assisting bartenders.
Main Responsibilities :
- Provides excellent guest service according to expectations outlined in the training manual § Carries out all tasks necessary to prepare the restaurant for service prior to pre-shift
- Maintains shift par levels on all bottles, beer, mixers, juices and fruit garnishes
- Keeps all service wells stocked with ice
- Maintains cleanliness of work area behind and adjacent to bar
- Completes daily and weekly side work on a consistent and thorough basis
- Assists other staff members as necessary
- Completes additional tasks as assigned by the management team
- Keeps management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other team members § Follows all company policies as outlined in company handbook

Able to read, understand and speak English. Able to communicate clearly and concisely § Able to stand for an eight-hour shiftAble to lift 50 lbsAble to reach above head and bend to put items on the floor or low shelvesAble to climb stairs and laddersAble to repetitively lift glass racks, bus buckets and other items § Able to work as part of a team for the benefit of the guestAble to work at a consistently fast pace in a loud environment
