About the Role
The purpose of this department is to complete background reports for clients who are specifically governed by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
This is an entry-level position. During training, employees are taught about the regulations this department follows. Knowledge and understanding of NEI, NRC, and local or federal laws regarding background investigations prior to application and / or acceptance of this role is not expected.
This role engages in computer-based desk work, including but not limited to : taking inbound calls from employers, schools, military facilities, and personal character references of applicants, transferring those calls to employees processing reports, and transposing data into our system. This role plays an important part in ensuring we provide top-tier service to our clients and their applicants, all while supporting our Nuclear Department team.

Working Schedule
Opportunities for hybrid work are available after completion of the probationary period. Transitions to a hybrid schedule are considered based on demonstrated communication skills, role-based knowledge, and performance.
FT / PT hours are based on season : Typical FT seasons are January-April and August-October ; all other months are typically PT.Typical schedule : Tuesday-Friday or Monday-Thursday ; 7-10-hour shiftsWhen determined by company needs, OT and weekends may be required.
Shift start times vary between 5 : 00 AM-8 : 00 AM and will vary depending on staffing needs and season.Compensation
17.00-$18.00 / hourInquiries made regarding the potential impact of prior experience on the advancement of title or compensation will be considered after the 90-day probationary period; assessments will be conducted to evaluate performance, application of previous experience, and qualifications within this roleBenefits
