Our client is looking for a Director of Education in North Carolina, in whom willmanage educational programs, policies, and staff. They may also lead curriculum development, supervise staff, and work with community members.
Responsibilities
- Program development : Plan, organize, and develop educational programs, policies, and procedures
- Curriculum : Lead the development of curriculum and provide guidance to staff
- Staff management : Supervise staff, including part-time and temporary staff
- Communication : Communicate with community members, parents, and school personnel
- Reporting : Prepare and maintain reports and statistics
- Budgeting : Assist in preparing budgets for programs and monitor expenditures
- Liaison : Serve as a liaison between schools and various departments
- Training : Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff and members
- Coordination : Coordinate with other directors, agencies, and departments
