VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Emergency Medicine.

• Description : Valley Regional Hospital is building a pool of providers for their EM pool : - We need 8-10 shifts covered in the second half of July and10-12 shifts in August.- Must be open to day and night shifts. July shifts are : 16 Night17 Night20 Day / Night21 Night22 Night28 Day29 Day30 Day31 Day
• Emergency Medicineresidency trained ABEM C / E Emergency Medicine Physician
• 12 Bed EDapproximately 10500 annual patient visits
• Telehealth servicesinclude TeleNeuro TelePsych TeleICN and TeleEmergency
• 24 / 7 in-houserespiratory therapists
• 24 / 7 CT / Xray allreads in real time by radiologists. MRI and formal US weekdays
• Primarily singlecoverage 12hr shifts with 2nd Provider swing shifts on some days
• Optional potential foracademic affiliation and / or partial administrative role if interested- Due to 24hr schedule - OT is not approved based off 40 hours a week. Note on Schedule : Site is moving to 24s with approximately 1 / 3 of the shift being 24s by mid-July and 50 by September 1st. Until then the coverage is 2 x 12 hour 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Mid-July through August will have 24 hours shifts on for 1 / 3 of the days 12s for the remaining. By September ½ of the shifts will be 24s
• 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
• Certification Requirements : ACLS; BLS; PALS; ATLS
