We’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospice Medical Director to lead our efforts in providing exceptional medical oversight and support for our hospice care programs.

As a Hospice Medical Director, you’ll guide the medical components of our hospice care, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of compassionate and personalized treatment in their end-of-life journey. You’ll serve as a vital connection between our interdisciplinary team, attending physicians, and the broader medical community, fostering meaningful collaboration and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide oversight for the medical component of hospice care across all locations under the hospice’s certification.
• Ensure proper evaluation for hospice eligibility, advise on patient care decisions, and maintain compliance with all Medicare / Medicaid and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during crisis situations and serve as a consultant for attending physicians and patients.
• Participate in and contribute to Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities to ensure continued care excellence.
• Build relationships with the medical community while supporting physician outreach, facility communication, and community education initiatives.
