Reports To : Site Foreman
Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Excavator Operator to join our team on a portable aggregate crushing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, performing maintenance tasks, lubrication, and clean-up duties to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Excavator Operation : Operate excavators to load aggregate materials into the crushing plant, ensuring optimal productivity and safety.
- Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on the excavator and other equipment, including checking fluid levels, inspecting parts, and making minor repairs as needed.
- Lubrication : Apply lubricants to machinery components to reduce wear and tear and ensure smooth operation.
- Clean-Up : Maintain cleanliness of the worksite by removing debris, cleaning equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Reporting : Document and report any issues or malfunctions to the Site Foreman promptly.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
