Functional Job Title : Scrum Master

Overview :

ASRC Federal Vistronix is actively seeking a Scrum Master to join our team and support development efforts for a government client in Kansas City.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordination of Sync meetings to engage with Stakeholders to gather project requirements to aid in migration planning and delivery.
  • Document project risks and impediments, collaborate with necessary resources to mitigate risk or accept risk, notifying all parties of the acceptance and plan if risk comes to fruition.
  • Weekly touchpoints with Deployment Managers, Project Managers, Federal Leads and security regarding migration status, blockers, conflict resolution and schedules to support continued movement of migrations.
  • Support Federal Leadership in efforts to provide weekly / monthly briefings
  • Planning and coordination for AWS migrations and related milestones
  • Ensure migration work and status are properly tracked in Jira and on dashboards

Requirements

Required Skills and Competencies :

A successful candidate must have the following experience / competencies

  • Ability to speak in front of large audiences, utilizing clear and concise oral and written communication
  • Ability to clearly communicate goals, deadlines, and expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • The ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and deadlines
  • Follow processes and track work and incidents in Jira and Service Now
  • Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.

    US Citizenship, H1B Visa or Green Card with three-years of residency required.

    Education and Experience :

    Four-year technical degree such as Business Information Systems, project management

  • or –
  • Combination of at least 5 years of relevant work experience

    Preferred :

    3-5 years of project management experience or Scrum Master experience

    Preferred Skills and Competencies :

    Additional consideration will be given to candidates with the following skills / competencies.

  • Project management, scrum master or other SAFE certifications
