Transporter - Gettysburg Transport Team - Day / Evenings

PRN (As Needed) Shift : Day / Evenings

General Summary : Performs activities related to transportation of patients. Follows established safety guidelines and uses appropriate devices when transporting patients. Provides messenger services on request.

Essential Functions :

• Transports patients to and from clinical, ancillary and support department areas as directed.
• Assists clinical personnel in transferring patients to or from beds, chairs, wheelchairs or stretchers using appropriate body mechanics to perform patient lifts.
• Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.

Minimum Education : High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience : Less than 1 year Relevant experience. Required

Licenses : Heartsaver CPR / AED Upon Hire Required
