Job descriptionExamine documents, materials, and products to assess completeness and accuracy. Record production data, including volume produced and quality control measures. Requisition and maintain inventories to meet production demands. Revise production schedules due to design changes or material shortages. Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 2-5 years of experience in logistics or a related field. Advanced skills in spreadsheet software and enterprise resource planning tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Pay Range : $24.99-$35.70 / Hrs
Description :
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules.
- Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules.
- Compile reports on inventory levels and costs.
- Ensure the smooth transportation of products through shipment management.
- Track and resolve shipping, warehouse, and carrier shipping errors.
- Assist in carrier and third-party logistics management and performance analysis.
- Work in a continuous improvement spirit across a highly-matrixed environment.
