Graduate Assistant - Volleyball

Required

Bachelor’s degree. (Must apply and be accepted in one of many graduate programs at Sul Ross State University). Have previous college volleyball experience either playing or coaching. Standard office machines; computer skills. Preferred Willingness to be an apprenticeship leader (clinical instructor). Additional or other related experience. Primary Responsibilities Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division III institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the American Southwest Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for volleyball.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Volleyball Coach. In this role, the successful applicant will be working closely with the student-athletes at SRSU.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assist in practice and game planning and preparation; assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes; support of student-athlete success on during play and in the classroom; hospitality; travel management; gameday operations; and other duties as assigned.
