ABOUT THE ROLE

Mobile Equipment Operator I Haul Truck position is a key position transporting materials throughout the quarry into piles, trucks or crushers, depending upon production / shipping requirements.

The Operator will maintain a night shift schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Primary operations of haul trucks; water trucks and fuel truck.
• Depending upon quarry operational requirements, operating mobile equipment to include, but not limited to front end loaders (993s, 992s, 980s, etc.), haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators, fuel truck, dredge and skid steer loaders.
• Inspect all operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems.
• Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards or report to quarry supervisor if corrections cannot be made.
• Do any cleanup that is necessary to have a better and safer working environment.
• Taking accurate and reliable counts of material additions as required.
• Maintain strong communication with quality personnel and make adjustment to material blends as required.
• Communicate all safety, maintenance and production needs.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Education : High School diploma / GED. Ability to read and write.

Required Work Experience : Experience working in varying weather elements. Quarry experience preferred.
