Registered Nurse - Day Surgery Unit

Summary :

As a dedicated Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients in the Day Surgery Unit. Your responsibilities will involve both routine and complex nursing tasks, where you'll demonstrate your ability to manage clinical situations, prioritize patient needs, and contribute effectively to team dynamics.

Responsibilities :

• Embrace the key competencies of the CHRISTUS system, including being a Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Utilize the nursing process per ANA standards, ensuring thorough assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients.
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families, adapting your approach based on their requirements.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring patients for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess patient and family education needs and provide appropriate guidance and resources.
