Geologist / Project Manager – Growing Environmental, Seismic Survey, and Geophysical Firm

I’m partnered with a well-established company that is looking to add a Geologist / Project Manager to their team. This group has been in business for over 20 years and provides vibration, noise, and structural monitoring services for construction, mining, demolition, and major infrastructure projects across the U.S. They are highly respected in their niche and continue to grow.

The Geologist / Project Manager will oversee monitoring and survey projects from planning through execution, data analysis, reporting, and client delivery. This person will work closely with engineers, contractors, and internal field teams to ensure high-quality results and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage vibration, seismic, noise, and structural monitoring projects

Conduct or oversee pre- and post-construction condition surveys

Analyze vibration / seismic data and prepare technical reports

Maintain communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle

Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal QA / QC procedures

Provide guidance and support to field staff

Ideal Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Science , or a related field

3–7+ years of experience in geoscience, geophysics, environmental consulting, or construction monitoring

Experience with vibration or seismic instrumentation is required

Strong communication, technical writing, and data interpretation skills

Comfortable performing field work and traveling to project sites
