Pediatric Nephrologist Opportunities - Driscoll Health System

Locations : Corpus Christi & Edinburg, Texas

Join the Only Freestanding Childrens Hospital in South Texas

The Driscoll Health System is seeking a BC / BE Pediatric Nephrologist to join our well-established and growing program, with openings at both our Corpus Christi and Edinburg locations. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment dedicated to delivering the highest standard of pediatric nephrology care to the children of South Texas.

About the Pediatric Nephrology Program :

Full range of clinical services including :

Living and deceased donor transplantation

Acute and chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis

Plasmapheresis and CRRT

Home to the only freestanding pediatric hemodialysis unit in South Texas :

Corpus Christi : 5-station unit

Rio Grande Valley : 4-station unit

Supported by a multidisciplinary team including :

Experienced dialysis nurses

Dedicated renal dietitian

Social workers

Child life specialists

Active participant in :

NAPRTCS

SCOPE

Midwest Pediatric Nephrology Consortium

CKiD

IROC

Candidate Requirements :

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology

Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas

A 191-bed pediatric tertiary care center offering over 30 medical and surgical specialties. Driscoll serves a large catchment area, including Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, Victoria, and Laredo. As the only free-standing childrens hospital in South Texas since 1953, Driscoll is home to :
