As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner supporting the needs of a healthcare location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff patients and visitors.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control procedures verifying identification and / or credentials as required for entry to restricted areas within the healthcare facility.

Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to those within the location.

Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

CPR certification is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
