Job Summary – Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians in the delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.

Assess patient conditions to identify needs and determine care priorities using assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on initial and ongoing assessments.

Initiate assessments based on patient needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.

Perform therapeutic nursing interventions in alignment with clinical standards.

Manage and oversee comprehensive patient care.

Document care according to standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

Advocate for evidence-based practice and support adoption of evidence-based innovations in care delivery.

Provide patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Details

Shift : Nights

Hours per Week : 36 hours

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : As needed

On-Call Requirement : None

Float Requirement : As needed

Requirements

Experience

Required : 1 year of RN experience

Preferred : 2+ years

Comprehensive patient assessment

EKG interpretation / cardiac rhythm analysis

Hemodynamic monitoring

IV therapy and IV insertion

Medication administration

Wound care

Patient and family education

Working knowledge of inpatient hospice
