Practice Setting

Inpatient Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

16-bed state-of-the-art facility

Supported by 5 academic intensivists and 6 advanced practice providers

Schedule

Coverage needed : 84 hours every 2 weeks

12-hour rotating day, night, and weekend shifts

Only 1-2 weeks per month; you pick the dates

Cases and Procedures

Comprehensive patient assessments and diagnoses

Develop treatment plans and order diagnostic tests

Perform procedures such as arterial lines and central venous lines

Requirements

Board Certified in Cardiology

North Carolina licensure required
