Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Lewis Center, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our procurement process, ensuring that we acquire the right materials and services at the best prices. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for negotiation and supplier management, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and delivery conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
- Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance in a timely manner.
